wow...

i think braces make me talk less, i wonder if that's a good or bad thing haha.
it's not the braces that's pain, it's the cutting of my upper right lip :((
funny. so lately, i dont even talk during my prayer time..i suppose cos im quite lazy too
and dun wan cut my lips lol..
it's not good lah i think must talk I THINK LAH.
but for a few nites, i just lie down..close my eyes enjoy enjoy
sometimes fall asleep oso..haha..
but still do open mouth tok abit, less than last time oni..

this morning i was looking for smth in my cabinet..and came across this card
that read:

i recall when i first read it, i wondered if i could ever find such a friend...

now that i chance upon it again,
my answer is i have found that Friend... =)

because contentment in a friendship comes not from mouth alone, but above all, from the heart...

i've found that Friend who knows me inside out, outside in, even better than i know myself. =)

just some thoughts...

i know there'll always be that sad part of my life which can make me cry anytime
noone can truly comprehend really, except for God and probably, myself.
but i guess it all happens for a reason..
guess i just gotta keep focus on Him and think about the possible masses of people
who dont even know who Jesus is.

=)
sounds sad but there's always hope and promises to look forward to :)
i cant hold myself back for something i cannot change.
and yep, i still thank Him for tt, even though it's really painful a thought.

anyway there's cruise dinner (for ladies only WHOOHOO!) with the church ladies later :)
it's good food for both flesh and soul =)

how true can this be!!!!

not that every second or every moment i've sought Him and stuff but u know, that's just God's grace. i feel like im so blessed in every way. having found a wonderful church, knowing really great people in church, having a i-can-see-it-getting-better-day-by-day family, acquainted with excellent company of friends...i mean so much more.

i used to feel that throughout my life, i've been attending elite schs and all and i felt that the environment was protective. but it's onli until i met HIM i feel so safe and protected.... =) THANK YOU!!!!!!!! *jumps*

and by His grace, he added unto me blessings..countless blessings..the very fact that we're alive today is yeah! a blessing :) i mean like..i have faltered many times. MANY MANY times yet HE granted me some desires i nv have expected to be fulfilled..

it's amazing the way God blesses us (: really. :)

i kinda always wanted a palmtop but i didnt care much aboutt it so it kinda became an issue at the back of my mind. and today after discussing some uni finance stuff with my aunt, she was like telling me she bought a palmtop so i teased her say.. "wah u like that tempt me..i also cannot buy..u wanna buy for me not? wan not wan not?"

i was actually expecting a no, i mean i would understand if it was so because university alone eats up one lump sum of money already. plus the misc payments to be made to blah blah blah...FOC. and GUESS WHAT.

my aunty looked at me with my A4 size corporate planner and said.. "hmm see u write on this like quite ke3 lian2 later we go see can buy palm not lah.more convenient..."

inside i was like OMG. THANK GOD. :) it's His blessing...i actually forgot i wanted a pda anyways :p

then after my braces (thank GOD it din hurt much really!!!!) i was supposed to purchase a bottle of mouthrinse with my own money and i was like kinda broke already, and GUESS WHAT?

dentist shally say no need pay!!!!!!! like WOW THANK U JESUS! :)

then i kinda did the 'homework' Pastor Seaward gave last week..and thank GOd lah one morning i was so BORED i just thought of doing it haha :) God's great huh! makes use of all sorts of situations....yup and Dominic did his work too...actually i think alot of people did but they were too shy. anyway i got a cd from Ps. Seaward :p

really wanna thank God seriously for all His countless blessings!!!! :) im really awed by Him seriously :)

after reading this, just feel like saying...i'm sorry if i ever made anyone feel that Christians are elitist and high above all else.. i've sinned against u i'm really sorry and do forgive me aiights :)
i've learned that we're all sinners! i mean i still lie even now that i'm a Christian...(i lied to rebecca that i'm onli 15!!!!), i still judge...these are all sins...the difference is that..

Christians are forgiven sinners and non-Christians arent... hmmm.. i lied to rebecca for fun but right till the end, i still lied and i still need God's grace and thank God He sent His one and only Son to die for me to forgive me of sins..and i've got to repent...i cant do it on my own, so i ask for Him to help me hehehe He'd never failed! :)

I picked up my newspaper this morning and saw the headlines: “Jackson Acquitted on All 10 Counts,” and my immediate thought had nothing to do with Michael Jackson. Instead, for some reason I saw my name there. I saw the headline: “Fischer Acquitted on All Counts.” And here’s the deal: I know I’m guilty.

That’s the big difference between Michael and me. MJ will most likely now appear exonerated. I’m sure statements along the lines of justice being done will be prevalent from his camp. My acquittal is much different. I don’t want the subject of justice to even come up. Justice will not be in my best interest primarily because I know I’m guilty. My acquittal has little to do with fame, race, or any of the issues we will be hearing about in the next few days. My acquittal has everything to do with mercy. It was all the judge’s doing. I’m still pretty much baffled by the whole thing, to be honest. I didn’t even request it. He acquitted me because he convicted His Son in my place. And since justice was already done on the cross, I can now go free. Like Michael Jackson.

Every day we get to breathe is another day we don’t deserve. Grace is getting what we don’t deserve; mercy is not getting what we do deserve, and the incredible thing is: we get both. This is not only an important element to our relationship with God (we wouldn’t have one without this); it’s also an important part of our message to the world.

A big part of our mission in the world is to announce God’s mercy, along with an acute awareness of our own guilty verdict. Without both sides of this story, people quickly get the wrong idea about Christians — that they are people who are better than everyone else, or at least they think they are. We would do well never to talk about justice being done without accompanying statements of gratitude for our own undeserved acquittal.

This is why I do not want to look at the headlines about Michael Jackson and shake my head. Instead, I let out a sigh of relief, because that’s me, too, in that picture. That’s me, acquitted of my real guilt — an acquittal that makes me the most fortunate good-for-nothing on the face of the earth. And it’s the gospel that propels me to tell this story to everyone I meet, because, in reality, the world is merely full of other good-for-nothings like me for whom Christ died. The only real difference is who knows it, and who doesn’t.

a fresh new perspective

it is amazing how God just renews and purifies our thoughts each day
and each day there is always something to learn :)
we'll never be perfect.
even if there's one who can memorise the first verse of Genesis to the last verse of Revelations
he cannot claim that he knows it ALL.
because God gives abundantly
and u can cover it wide, but u can never cover it in depth.
so we're always learning........Praise the Lord for tt! (:

today with the kids have been SO FUN!
i am NOT exaggerating at all because AH, it's just so refreshing being around kids!!
kids are so pure and innocent and trusting =)
a few kids came to me to bring them to e washroom,
i just raised out my hands to them and u'd be surprised how they'd just slip that little tiny hands of theirs into yours... that's how God wants us to trust Him..like a child, giving glory to Him, obeying His commands not because of anything - not pressure, not by force, but because we love Him.
and we dont love Him because of anything else in the world, but simply because He loved us first =)
love being around kids!!!! amazing huh i used to hate being around them hahaha!!!

there's always something to learn from someone =)

came to know Pastor Maureen's nephew Alistar! :) he's such an intelligent kid!!!!!!!!!!! really!
and i thank God for giving him wisdom and intelligence =)
Alistar may be wheelchair bound but im so touched by his life testimony =)
how he so willingly shared with mich and myself the tricks of a simple game tic-tac-toe
and meet him u'll agree he's blessed with the intelligence and the light to see life in an optimistic way. =)
dont u just agree that the world needs more of such wonderful people =)
God's gifts to the world! :) we're all gifts to the world, it's only whether we've found that potential in us...that we may be used by Him to fulfil His plan, all to His glory =)

don't grumble about life.
if u think God is unfair, right now i tell u with conviction that NO, GOD IS NOT AND NEVER WILL BE UNFAIR because in Him is righteousness.
all u need to see life in a different light is Christ. =)
it does take time to learn and i am going to take a lifetime to learn.
far and wide and deep..God's wisdom is infinite. =)

when we trust man, man may fail.
but when we place that trust in God, He never, NEVER fails.
i say this because i am convinced.
i took that step of faith and He'd never stopped showing me the wonders of His promises :)

i looked back on my testimony(previous entry) on how i got saved and establish that relationship with God and realised i was led to Him by simple promises....i din wanna break my promise to anyone...to God to kor for that matter. =)
and till the day i meet JEsus again, i will live by His promises. (Acts 16:31)
by faith.
and if u wanna challenge me to prove faith, i cant. but because im only a man.
only God can prove and show u the true meaning of FAITH. =)

until then, life is not going to make sense =)

yawns!!!!

not that life's boring BUT AH.
this is just the beginning of my adventure with Christ k HEHEHEH :)

as i dedicate and commit myself to full time ministry
oh yeah u heard me right, full time ministry (not that it's going to happen overnite but oh yeah it is going to be at some point of my life and im praying that God will show it to me hehehe. all to His glory yeah :))
cant explain what made me go forward but all i can sae was i just felt super convicted and tears just came, just came when i heard pastor david....

e first time he mentioned full time ministry it didnt get to me but wah, when it came the second time, i have no idea why i just started tearing and tearing... so i was like "wah God u really wan me do it you confirm for me" den the next few sentences i just kept tearing and tearing...den i had this thought "GOD I GOING INTO UNIVERSITY NOW U TELL ME ABOUT FULL TIME MINISTRY. I AM STILL YOUNG" and the next thing i know pastor david said, "you may be old, young..." den i say "i still wan confirmation..." and i got a few more that hit me right through and i just kept tearing and tearing...

den finally, pastor david just said, "those who feel that tug at their heart and are willing to commit to full time ministry please come foward..." and these words that was previously mentioned by pastor david came to me: "GO FOR IT."

so i was really convinced that that's God's calling for me so i just went forward and yep!!!!! :) i've committed my life to Jesus...and now i gotta pray that He'll show me His way in His best timing for me. =)
i dun think it's now lah....but sometime in my life...in His best time really. =)
gotta pray about it so u guys gotta help me pray too k =)
pray that when the time is ripe, i'll get confirmation yeah! =D

anyway i just talked to joshua quite a surprise really =) asked me for my testimony. so i might just share about how i got saved by the grace of God here! oh yeah. Praise and glory to the King! =)

k it's a long long story and im not going to care about good grammar or not k. can understand can already :):) i came to know planetshakers at city church rite remember? at first i thought their music werent to my liking. so anyways, i went back singapore. and it was about time to get back a-level results so i was really worried i just turned to i dunoo which God but just God and i just prayed that u know "God if i get AAB i will go apply for medicinebecause i'd think that that's ur calling for me to save lives." i wasnt Christian and i dont know why i prayed like one anyway HAHAHA.

so came, i got AAB but a stupid c5 for GP. i cried :( i never worried about my GP seriously. and yeah lor.. :( so i was quite bothered about the prayer of promise to God lor though i wasnt sure what God but i just thought there's one big God above all lah. and i always thoughtit's the angmoh God but now i see Him as the universal God OH YEAH!we're all equal before God :) anyways, i was bothered about whether i should still apply for medicine. u know with that C5!!!! :( i had alot of doubts about myself i should go forth do it and that was a timewhen i needed answers.i spoke to my mom's friends about it and they encouraged me to just try but i still wasnt convinced... yeah. i remember that day we went to kinokuniya and i picked up lotsa books with a heavy heart. it was only until i picked up john mason's the impossible IS possible istarted to feel that the words were alive and hitting me like PANG!and those were bible verses. i bought it lor. went home and read in my toilet and it constantly just hit my heart PANG PANG PANG kinda thing.so i just said OK LOR U SAY ALL THINGS POSSIBLE I GO FOR IT.

so i dun care, i dun care what people will think that i bu yao lian try medicine with such grades BUT AT LEAST I TRIED!!! hehehe.then that same week, my 'kor' invited me to his church and said it would be a great birthday gift to him :) so i was thinking AH GOOD NO NEED BUY PRESENT JUST GO! so i just promised. and yeah it was a 8amservice. EIGHT AM IN THE MORNING. i had to like wake up real early...but i din wanna break that promise u see... so i just went.den i dunoo why, i wanted to visit my friend michelles church, ELIMCHURCH which is a great church im attending now!! :) so i msged herden she like super excited say OKOK!so i went....and right at that time, we had a evangelist/prophetvictor with us ...

at first i seriously din like him i thought why hewas talking like "GOD TOLD ME THIS" "GOD TOLD ME THAT" and i sawpeople shaking, slain, speaking in tongues i felt SUPER UNCOMFORTABLE.i was like "demonic ah? why they faking it? do they know how stupidthey look!!!!"but i dunoo why i just went week after week. aiya, anyway u know thatsaturday i told u i wanted to get planetshakers CD?! yeah lor yeahlor....actually that same day i just came home from suntec city uknow. so i was like OH MAN im gonna wait a long time before i can getthose CDs. i just wanted them, dunoo why. actually alot of things idunoo, i just felt like i wanted it from e heart..... :)then the next day i was telling michelle, EH I WANNA GET PLANETSHAKERSCD...and RIGHT AFTER THAT Pastor Glen was making e announcement if inever remember wrongly, den he say planetshakers in town and elimchurch is providing transport and tics for free. I WAS LIKE OMG.

so we went lah....same thing i did feel uncomfy oso cos music too loudbut U SEE, GOD IS AMAZING. i felt uncomfy but He uses that still to lead me to Him . :) :)anyway, continue going to church and i started liking pastor victor DONT KNOW Y. but as time went pass, i guess there was a faith in mebuilding up and i did enjoy going to church u know.... :) :) :)anyway, to cut it short, there was one sunday ( i usually attend the1030 service), i felt prompted to stay for the 5pm service..and i felt like there was something pressing on my heart...so i just took it by faith and trust that God wants to pour out His spirit on all flesh. POUR. AND YES,POUR.

so i just okok lor just responded to altarcall, and i started shaking uncontrollably. wah i tell u, i was so scared i thought i was possessed u know super scareD!!!! but the other half of me believed it was God pouring out His spirit lor. :p so i just let it be.....when i got up i wanted to reconfirm it so i asked Sister Seaward and she just said with a lot of confidence, "it's the outward manifestation of the Holy Spirit" so i believed that. at that time, my hands and legs were still shaking a little so i asked that i be prayed for again....of course i still had my doubts but i just went to sleep anyway. that was the very same night i dreamt of a little boy right in my kitchenin front of my washing machine saying, "Dont ever forget that JEsus Christ died on the cross for you!!!" when i woke up i nearly forget that dream, but i just heard that i have to recall and the dream came back to me. so i got quite thrilled lah but i still very scared aswell. then alot of people told me that's a blessing so yeah it's a blessing lah. up till today, when i have doubts, i always recall that dream....which is a confirmation tt JEsus is so real and so alive :)

then came Good Friday...i was really touched by e love..u know howJesus Christ died for us...but what really impressed me was that evenbefore He died, He prayed even for those who sinned against Him. atthat time, i felt that was true love. that u can even love those whopersecute u. :) i recalled my GP teacher telling me..."Love is truelove when there's a sacrificial part to it." thoughts just keptflowing through me and i started crying ....yeah really reallytouched...so i went up to confess with my mouth and invite Christ into my life lor :pi got waterbaptised on 24th april 2005. and my baptised name is sarah jane, xie zhen HEHEHHE :Pi got baptised in the Holy Spirit on Pentecostal Sunday this year.

icant remember the dates...that's basically it..anyway i think purpose driven life is a goodbook...it guided me before i got my discipleship class and of course ihad a friend who taught me some things...now i look back...u see..im awed by how God drawed me to Himreally..it's amazing amazing............. =) and i thank God fortt...actually it's really His timing and i guess u see, im raised upin a traditional family of Tao stuff, all the confuscious buddha amixture of everything, something that combines all 5 and claimthemselves to be a way...so i kinda grew up with that thinking u see.:), but i guess people along the way opened me up to Christianity andyeah....all the little things that people do...now i think back, iremember this Christian lady passing me tract after she asked me theway around Bishan. and she did it out of alot of sincerity...

and iguess that's why witnessing about Christ is really reallyimportant...and it is all Christians' responsibility to get as many toknow Christ as possible...because Jesus says, I AM THE ANSWER. rite :)u never know when that step is going to make a difference, never knowwhen a smile makes a difference, when a word of encouragement willmake a difference. i only truly understood these words of wisdom wheni came to Christ...and i dont wanna lose it.actually i love the Christian community alot... =) of course there will be times when there may be discord but i learnt that when that happens, pray about it...pray to God that He will show u how to goabout resolving the matter...man can fail man, but God never failsbecause He is perfect. for me, i believe in that, because i amconvinced and He's shown me. :) but there were many many times i tookthat step of faith as well....and He's rewarded me in His manner andfashion...and i just wanna thank God for that....

Religious Christian operate at the natural realm. Spiritual Christians operate at the supernatural realm :)

tell God u wanna be a spiritual Christian today! we all should! (:

Be bold in asking for what u want and believe He will grant it. but it's a partnership.

There’s an ad on television that has computerized a camera angle starting somewhere in outer space and panning down through the cosmos, through the galaxy, to our solar system, to the planet earth, to a continent, to land, to mountains, and finally down to a bright yellow Hummer SUV bouncing along some forbidden glacial terrain. Now forget the Hummer and put yourself in the final picture, and you get a sense of God’s view of you.

On one hand we are so small in this vast and boundless universe, but on the other hand we are caught in the eye of God. Think about it: God created all this so you and I could exist. That’s right; God created the universe with a world in it, in order to have a place to put you and me. That’s a pretty amazing thought when so much around us seems to suggest our insignificance.

We get easily lost in a crowd, but God has satellite eyes. He knows us each by name. He can pick us out of a crowd because he thought of each of us before we were even born. And He made us for one reason: to love us and to receive back from us, our love for Him. That’s why our number one purpose is to love the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength. To discover this is to discover why we are here and what our existence requires of us. Can you think of anything higher? Can you see how when you worship God you are fulfilling your highest calling? Yet it is so grounded and so basic, a child can do it. (Actually a child does it easier than we do.)

So small, yet so important. That’s us. None of us an accident — all of us followed and loved in the eye of God with one big thing to do… love Him back. Think you can do that

until u know Jesus, and even when we've known Him, He's never stopped loving us :) people dont turn to Christ because they dont even know Him. (:

todayy...

i let my thoughts wander further than usual. perhaps it was cus i was tired
then again, maybe not. i just wanted to think about things...
i thought about how far i'd go to stand firm to Jesus.
and realised or rather, i knew quite long time ago,
im not financially independent enough to have the courage and heart to declare that
im willing to forsake my comfort for Him...

then i imagined being chased out of the family one day if things do get bad.
cus frankly, sometimes i cannot stand my aunty telling me abt her stuff. because that's not the truth at all.
she thinks she's full of wisdom and i, nil. but when she tells me i have no wisdom at all,
sometimes my heart bleeds. because wisdom without Christ is no wisdom.

it heartens to see pastors travelling with their families to all over the world with one aim and tat's to witness about Christ and share about Him.
i wish my life'd be spent that way too.

then again, my heart's always changing......
shall see where He leads me to =)

i guess it's time to step back and really reflect on what i can do for Him...
i wanna win souls to Christ and i need the strength and boldness.

it's amazing how sometimes OMG IM AT A LOSS OF WORDS.

let's just say...im pretty much in delight now after spending quite good time with Him. times which ive missed and let it slip me by as i got listless due to my poor health lately.

i wasnt sad or anything and somehow midway thru my convo...i just teared.
tt part of me that wanted to breakaway resurfaced. im not going to say cos i dislike my family cos i know for well, that no i dont. but it's just me to wanna get out of this place some time.

the taste of freedom.
the feeling of not being tied down by anything.
and i was like... "hey God im sure u know tt's always what ive wanted. i wanna go somewhere far away. maybe with someone i really love. =)"

i hate singapore's weather i swear i do. i hate the sun i swear i do.
that of sweltering heat - i thank God im not ice cream.
im so pissed by the weather : what a thing to be pissed by. hurhur.

but i really can't care less this week. the nausea's still getting to me. :(
