living just for Him.

as i wanted to sing songs of joy, and searched for it on wmp,
we are the reason came on...
i cant say that ive been faithful every moment to live fully for Him.
and as ive struggled with the issues of whether or not to bow,
i thank God for showing me that we dont pay respects to the dead.

to many that is fanatic. but to me, i just want to stand firm and draw the line clear right from the start, not falling into the manipulation of the evil one.
if i cannot even stand firm to this, i don't think i will be able to stand firm as the times get tougher.

i must press on. i want a solid faith. and not a faith that wavers.
i just hope that God will open up the people's eyes to see what kind of bondage they are bringing themselves into.
I'm thankful He used even hard times to draw me closer to Him and His heart.

a test to whether im fit for the title Christian. let me know the true significance and privilege of being a child of God. His child, belonging to Him and noone else.

Jesus, thank You for the cross.

2 Chronicles 7:14

"Humbly turning to God is one of the most meaningful exercises a person can take.
We come in touch with divine sovereignty, and we become instant candidates to discern God's will for our lives.

Humbling ourselves is clearly in line with God's formula for revival:

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14, KJV)."

Thoughts of revivals have been coming to me. praying for one and all...and i believe for a miraculous one, we've gotta start small. starting by checking and praying for a revival in our very own hearts.

i dont know, yesterday morning as i jogged my 4km in the morning, i felt led to just keep praying for a revival. and i wasnt even really ready to share the testimony i heard about prayers of revival with the youth (unless im called out to do so) and Pastor really asked me to share.

Thank God for the opportunity really... and just last night i read Bill Bright's devotion on 2 Chronicles 7:14, as he shared about how humbling ourselves is clearly in line with God's formula for a revival. really spoke to my heart.

and also, this morning, as i was doing my quiet time by my piano side, i played Hear Us from Heaven, and above the score was the verse, 2 Chronicles 7:14... really hope and i do believe God has heard our prayers for a revival, to unlock our deaf ears and open our blind eyes. and i really dont think it's just opening and unlocking of the pre-believers, but even within our own believers' circle, we've really to ask ourselves:

Do we, as Christians, need a revival within our own hearts too?

and by this moment, i recall pastor seaward's new year message. how his qn came forth- "Has there been a time when you were more on fire for God than now?" if there is, then it's obvious we're backsliding..

shall claim 2 Chronicles 7:14. continue praying... =)

it will come. (: (Hebrews 4:16)

think ive received my breakthrough =D
over are the days when u dun feel like praying and you give in to the flesh
really gotta thank God for His strength to just PRAY.
sometimes i think praying internally will suffice
but if you want powerful prayers of faith where u just in the end get the SHIOK! feeling
speak it out.

yup. God hears it anyway, whether we say out or not
but i think there's something powerful in confessing and speaking it out.
same as our sins. i think when we confess it with our mouth, we are more aware of it, we cant smoke through it hence, can't blind our hearts from it.
