trials (:

We must be persuaded that God is in control of the timing and intensity of our trials.

We must realize that God has a specific purpose for each trial in life.

We must understand that each trial is designed to meet a specific need that God sees in our lives.

We must accept that each trial is going to result in our own good if we respond in faith.

We must discover how each trial can strengthen our faith by proving that we can depend on the Lord for all of our needs.

We must rejoice in that each trial is an opportunity for God to demonstrate His power to sustain us under tremendous pressure.

We must submit ourselves to the development of Christ-like character that results from our trials.

We must take advantage of our trials’ usefulness in measuring our spiritual growth. For example, we may realize that we are capable of handling a powerful hardship that would have crippled us only a year or two ago. This is because our continuing trials have taught us that God will indeed empower us to prevail.

We must be convinced that God will walk us through every step of the trial(Hebrews 13:5).

We must have faith that by His grace and the enabling power of the Holy Spirit, we will not only survive, but we will also conquer over each trial.
If you are a child of God, you have the means by which to stand firm in the face of any trial. Trust that God has a reason for your sufferings, and submit yourself to whatever He desires to teach you. The road may be rocky, but a wise response will lead you into the joy He has promised.

wow time flies

just too many things to pen offhand
life's been filled with blessings
but filled also with challenges
and right now i just feel so small
so challenged and so unable to fight back strong

i guess im just downright sinful
im not to grumble and mumble
yet dont i do it often? especially in school
im always to give thanks
but how many times have i been envious of what others have
and what have i not
im to keep my focus on Jesus
but how many times have my heart strayed away?

guess at the end of it all
i can only trust in HIS faithfulness and
who GOD is.
it's all about who HE is. it's not about me.
because when i look and peer into the depths of my heart
some parts im too afraid to even glimpse,
i can see nothing worthy.

but because of one man who led a fully obedient life
that's where my faith's gotta be
because that's where true life begins.

i can only keep trusting, or at least try,
that all things work out well for all who love HIM.

nonetheless,
praise and honour be to GOD.

the bottomline,
im still a very blessed child, whether i realise it or not.
truth is not something that is altered through time, or through feelings.
people get philosophical and claim that the only constant is change.
but truly, right at this moment,
i think the only constant is truth.
because God is the truth, and He is always the same yesterday, today, and forevermore

how i know? because the bible says so.
and if youre skeptical about the bible
im too lazy to go try to reason it out with u
because at the end of age, only the truth will stand

even if it seems God is losing the battle
HE really never is. and GOD never fights a losing battle
because He's the winner always.
my GOD is the conqueror.
He is His utmost wisdom will use the unwise to shame the wise.

and ive found
the less things i have
the more dependent i am on Him and HIM alone.
but im always at the question how much will i give up?

too much to say,
but im pretty much overwhelmed too.
but above all,

PRaise be to GOD. the CONQUEROR.
my GOD of Salvation.
