can't be a coincidence that when Moses was left by the river of Nile, Pharoah's daughter saw and took pity on him. It's God's plan!!

okay anyways, really heard an interesting conversation between two men today while eating dinner. and this qn about "Can God create a stone that's too heavy He can't lift?"... then the man went on to further describe that if we say God can, we're defeating our own argument because then GOD is no longer all-powerful...

wow i was so troubled and i thought for a long long long long time... yeah and of course i thought GOD won't be so bo liao to do such things just to prove His existence... as the sayings go, nature itself expresses God's glory already... i remember someone once said,

"I can look at earth and understand why there's no GOD; I can't look at heaven and conclude there's no GOD."

not the exact words, but!! something like that (: if a man refuses to acknowledge God, he will find all sorts of reasons to defend his argument...but any wise man will know that just because YOU personally don't believe in His existence, doesn't cancel the FACT + TRUTH that He exists (:

anyway for argument and entertainment's sake...my mind boggled with it for awhile... and i thank GOD for quite an amusing answer to that.

if GOD can create a stone too big for Him to carry, HE can create something that HE can use to carry that stone too.

the trick is to realise that GOD is the Creator. and in Him, there are creative powers!! and the point is, if we realise that with GOD, we're on a line of infinity (not that you can even measure infinity with a line), there's really nothing HE cant do. not at all.

morning reflections

I was raking up the milo in the tin….and I realized it was all hardened beneath. And in the midst of softening the hard rocks of milo, I broke some big pieces… and I really felt the Lord just tapped on my heart, “Do you see it now?”

Man… tough night ydae but shall cling on to God like orang utan. But anyways, then I realize so many of us, if not all, have this rock of hardness in our hearts, perhaps something that’s been nurtured over the years through hurts, offences… so much so that we can’t be vulnerable to others. We find it hard to love, gosh at least I feel so…

But God is faithful… He’s come to break us so we can become a more effective child of God. If we cling on to our old hard self, we can never enjoy the richness and fullness of God. But when God turns things around and makes everything new through the process of breaking and making and refining, we become precious gold.

We all know about the miracle Jesus performed when He broke the bread and fed the thousands right =) (Matthew 14:15-21 ; Mark 6:30-44 ; Luke 9: 12-17 ; John 6:1-13 ). I’ve never really seen this miracle in this light until the lady shared on Sunday service last week:

Jesus broke the bread… and thousands were fed from 5 loaves. Jesus breaks us, moulds us, so we can be a blessing to the multitudes.

standing on the mountain top

I wanna be like the girl in the picture...standing on a mountain top and enjoying the presence of GOD...to stand high above the mountains, looking at the world from that angle....perhaps a little rehearsal before what life in heaven is like.

but what's that compared to the glory of GOD... it's only but a shimmer of the light of His glory. what's that joy to be on the mountaintop compared to the joy if im to just see HIM!?!?!?

yet now i am overwhelmed by stRess...nonetheless...it's nice to sit back and relax and imagine how it feels like to be on the mountaintop.

so free. shackles no more and liberty at last. (:

don't you find these pictures therapeutic? gosh. i love them. it just deepens my desire to travel. to see the whole earth... see the beauty GOD has created for HIS people.

Thank YOU for sustaining me. =) and i know you've heard every cry of my heart even though i may not have spoken it out......u're faithful despite my faithlessness.
